Sports shakers with a logo: A complete guide for companies

A shaker with a logo is one of the few promotional gadgets that a user picks up every day. It doesn’t lie in a drawer like a pen and doesn’t end up in the trash like a flyer – it goes to the gym, sits on a desk, and goes back into a bag. Every use is contact with your brand.

This guide leads you through the entire process: choosing the capacity, selecting the print, and the production flow. We write
from the manufacturer’s perspective – ShakerX produces sports shakers and ContainerX containers.

Why a shaker works better than a typical gadget

Most corporate gifts have a short life after an event. A shaker enters the daily routine: post-workout shake, water at work, a meal in a backpack. A product that someone reaches for several times a day for many months works for the brand in a completely different way than a lanyard or a notebook.

There is also a social effect. A shaker left on a bench in the locker room is seen by every person entering the room. The same product ends up in post-workout photos and in the frame at a cafe. This is exposure that you cannot buy in any media format for a comparable budget.

There is one condition: the product must look good throughout all this time. A shaker with a faded logo or a leaking cap says exactly as much about the brand as is visible — and it is not a compliment.

400 ml or 700 ml: which capacity for what

We offer two capacities, and both support the full range of personalization.

400 ml works well for a standard portion of protein, creatine, or BCAA dissolved in 250–350 ml of water. It is compact, fits in every bag, and looks good on store displays. It is a natural choice for mass events, welcome packs, and everywhere where unit cost matters for large quantities.

700 ml is the choice for active users: gainers with a large scoop weight, products mixed with milk, hydration throughout the entire workout. It also provides a larger side surface, which means more space for graphics.

If your formula requires a minimum of 500 ml of liquid for good solubility, a smaller shaker will frustrate the customer with every use. It is worth considering both formats in parallel: 400 ml as a “work” version, 700 ml as a “workout” version.

Both capacities come in a 2-in-1 design – two in one — one container with two interchangeable caps works as a shaker for supplements and as a leak-proof meal container. For the recipient, it is two uses in one product; for the brand, it is an argument that increases the perceived value of the set.

Print: the number of colors counts, not the size of the graphic

This is the most important thing to understand before getting a quote — and the point where we differ from most of the market.

The price does not depend on the size of the print. A full wrap around the entire circumference of the shaker costs exactly the same as a small logo on the side. With most suppliers, you pay for the print area, and every additional centimeter increases the bill. With us, you don’t.

The price depends solely on the number of colors. Standardly, we print in the range of 1–3 colors; upon request, it is of course possible to print more colors.

In practice, this means a simple design rule: simplify the palette, use the surface. A logo in two colors stretched around the entire circumference of the shaker gives maximum brand visibility at the cost of a two-color print. The same design placed in a small area on the side costs the same, and it is only visible from one side.

360° printing covers the entire side surface, so the logo is legible regardless of how the shaker lies on the counter, how the user holds it, and how it sticks out of a bag. With single-sided printing, a significant portion of visual contacts is simply lost.

How much does a shaker with a logo cost

We prepare quotes individually, but the rule is simple; before you send an inquiry, you should know that:

  • The quantity lowers the unit price – thresholds start from one carton and go down to several thousand pieces
  • The size of the print does not affect the price – full circumference costs the same as a small logo
  • We fulfill orders in multiples of a carton: 60 pieces for 400 ml, 56 pieces for 700 ml.
This is also the minimum order quantity — one carton is enough to start.

For a small club, a supplement startup, or a one-time event, this is a realistic test package, not an investment requiring board approval. You don’t have to order hundreds of pieces to see how your logo looks on the finished product.

Ask for a quote for two or three quantities at once — you will see at what quantity the calculator works out, and you will avoid a round of additional emails.

Also, remember to ask for the total cost, not just the price per piece. The budget also includes production preparation – such as preparing the printing matrix and transport.

Material and documentation

The shaker has direct contact with what you drink, so material documentation is not a formality to be checked off at the end
– it is the first filter when choosing a supplier.

We work with plastic that has a PZH certificate, confirming that the material is approved for contact with food.
We provide the document with the order.

It is worth knowing that the mere slogan “BPA-free” on a supplier’s website is a marketing declaration, not a document. With every request for a quote — from us and anywhere else — ask for a specific certificate issued for the product or material, not a general assurance about “meeting standards.”

The design is based on Circle Technology: a rounded bottom and a smooth inner surface mean that powder does not settle in the corners, and mixing takes place without a strainer and without a ball. Fewer elements mean faster washing and no parts that can be lost.

Cap colors and series

There are 12 standard closure colors to choose from, two cap colors, and two series of containers: Black and White in standard and transparent versions.

The choice of series has a direct impact on the color reproduction of the logo. On a white background, the print comes out exactly as in the design. On a black container, light graphic elements may look less saturated, which is why in such cases we often recommend an underlay.

Practical rule: brands with a multi-colored logo look better on a white background; minimalist signs with one dark color also scale well on a transparent body. If you have doubts, ask for a visualization of both versions at the same time.

What does the order process look like?

1. Brief
Provide the capacity, preferred cap color, quantity (preferably in two variants), and the planned delivery date.

2. File
Vector in AI, EPS, or PDF format, texts converted to curves, colors in CMYK or Pantone. A file from Canva or a screenshot from PowerPoint will not pass verification — pixelation during scaling is inevitable. Detailed requirements and print zone template:

3. Free visualization in 24 hours
You will see your logo on the selected model, in the selected cap color – before you make a decision to order and before any financial commitment.

4. Acceptance
Check the logo proportions, text legibility at actual scale, contrast against the body color, and continuity of the pattern at the seam. A change after the start of production means an additional cost and a delay in the deadline — at the visualization stage, a correction costs one email.

5. Production and delivery
The standard lead time is: from 7 working days calculated from the acceptance of the visualization and payment.

When to order?

If the shakers are to be ready for a specific date – trade fairs, product launch, start of the season, competitions – plan the order at least three weeks in advance. This buffer includes preparing and accepting the design, production, and delivery, and allows you to avoid emergency mode.

The most common bottleneck is not on the production side, but on the acceptance side. The faster you approve the visualization or send a correction, the faster we start.

What to demand from every manufacturer

Ask the same questions to us and the competition, and then compare the answers:

1. Do you have a PZH certificate or a declaration of conformity for this specific model — and can you send a scan?
2. What is the MOQ and do orders go in multiples of a carton?
3. How do you price the print – by field size or by number of colors?
4. Is the visualization free and in what time will I get it?
5. How long does the implementation take, calculated from the approval of the design, not from placing the order?
6. What is the complaint policy in case of non-compliance with the approved proof?

A manufacturer who cannot provide the print zone in millimeters, does not have a template for the client, or answers “it depends on the workload” instead of a specific deadline, is probably not a manufacturer, but an intermediary.

Summary

Choosing a sports shaker with a logo comes down to a few decisions: capacity for the target group, number of colors for the budget, quantity for the campaign goal, and a deadline with an appropriate buffer.

The rest is simpler than it looks. Full 360° printing costs the same as a small logo on the side – you pay for colors, not for the surface. The entry threshold is one carton, not hundreds of pieces. A PZH certificate and visualization before production are standard, not a premium service.
